Yes! Although initial testing showed that the Copper DMP's 3-layer foam may be too insulating for high-impact activities like running (resulting in increased heat inside the shoe), customer feedback has proven that Copper DMP is a great addition to running footwear.
Because Copper DMP is built on the same stabilizer cap as our Black insole, it offers a strong but thin and flexible base to support the foot. The dynamic foam quickly adapts and molds to your foot shape, giving your feet a bit more cushion than our other Trim-to-Fit products. And the friction-control nylon top cover allows your foot to move without creaing excessive friction, reducing the risk of rubbing or blistering.
Our DMP products both use a 3-layer foam system that allows the insole to mold to your unique foot shape through daily wear, giving you a personalized fit without having to heat the insole in an oven. They offer similar support on the same low-volume stabilizer cap design that fits in most athletic, casual and everyday footwear with removable insoles. The main difference between the products is in the top cover: Black DMP has a therapeutic top cover that is perfect for those with sensitive feet because it reduces friction in the shoe. Copper DMP features the 3-layer foam construction combined with our trusted nylon top cover which allows the foot and the insole to move independently of each other (similar to our other Trim-to-Fit insoles).
The Black DMP provides comfortable, therapeutic support for sensitive feet with a top cover designed to reduce friction due to excessive motion. The Copper DMP has the added nylon top cover for those who don't have sensitive feet and who just want to feel the extra molding and support from the dynamic foam system.
