Q: What is Agion® and what is it used for?

Agion® is a proven and natural antimicrobial technology that inhibits the growth of odor-causing microbes. Agion is based on silver, a naturally occurring element, and has been incorporated into a wide range of consumer, industrial and healthcare products. The antimicrobial has all the necessary approvals from the EPA, FDA, USDA, NSF and others around the world and it is approved to be used in many applications.

Q: How long will Superfeet insoles last with everyday wear?
A:
For 80% of consumers, the insoles will last approximately 12 months depending on body weight, type of shoe and the environment they are used in (i.e. walking, running, work and sports). Because everyone is different, we can not indicate how many miles it will take to wear a pair out. We recommend replacing your insoles every 12 months or when you purchase new shoes.
Q: How do I clean the Superfeet insoles?
A: We suggest an old tooth brush, mild soap and warm water. Let the insoles air dry.
Q: Can Superfeet Insoles be transferred from shoe to shoe?
A: Yes. Be sure to take the Superfeet Insoles with you when you buy new shoes so you don't buy a shoe that is the wrong size and volume. Remember to remove any factory sock liners, if needed.
Q: Can the Superfeet Insoles be used with heel lifts or full length lifts?
A: Yes. First make sure there will be enough room in the shoe to accept both the heel lift and the insole. Tape or glue the heel lift to the bottom of the insole.
Q: Do Superfeet Insoles help heel spurs?
A: Yes, in most, but not all cases. The insoles will help stabilize and reposition the heel bone. At the same time the deep heel cup will hold more of the fat pad under the heel bone for improved cushion and comfort.
Q: Do Superfeet Insoles help Plantar Fasciitis?
A: Yes, in most, but not all cases. The Superfeet Insoles will help hold the rearfoot close to a neutral position. The neutral position will allow for better bone and muscle alignment. This will help reduce some of the stress on the plantar fascia ligament.
Q: Do Superfeet Insoles help to reduce foot elongation? (the foot lengthens when weighted)
A: Yes, Superfeet Premium Insoles can help to reduce foot elongation up to 80% on average and up to 90% in some cases.
Q: Do Superfeet Insoles stop supination?
A:
No! The foot must supinate! The insole will help to support the supination function within the foot.
Example: In stabilizing the supination, the Superfeet Insoles will fill voids under the foot to offer improved balance and weight distribution through-out the bottom of the foot. The product will not have biomechanical accommodations for supinated feet. If you have a supinated foot that is experiencing some biomechanical problems, it is recommended you see a podiatrist.
Q: What can I do if the Superfeet Insoles increase my foot and shoe odor?

Clean the Superfeet Insoles on a regular basis (twice a week).
Remove the Superfeet Insoles from your shoes every night to let the shoes and Superfeet Insoles air out.
Do not wear the same pair of shoes three days in a row.
Try different brands of socks or nylons.
Apply a teaspoon of baby powder under and on top of the footbed in the shoe.
Apply some scented hand or body lotion to your feet.
Try soaking your feet in warm water and Epsom salts for about 20 minutes, once or twice a week.
Q: What should I do if the footbed makes a squeaking sound?
A: If the Superfeet Insoles are new, give them two weeks to mold to your feet and the sound should dissipate. If the squeak is still there, then apply some baby powder inside the shoes under the Superfeet Insoles. Apply some baby powder to the bottom of the plastic cap. Check to make sure that the Superfeet Insole is not trimmed too long for the shoe and is jammed into the shoe. The Superfeet Insole needs to work independantly from the shoe.
