Our winter products have the same biomechanical features as our Orange and Berry, but have added technological benefits to keep your feet comfy in cooler temperatures. The top cover contains Outlast® Adaptive Comfort® which regulates the temperature around your foot. It absorbs excess heat and releases it when the temperature cools. The Thermofoil layer in the forefoot acts as a reflective barrier that helps deflect cold air while the mesh layer directly above it creates a neutral air space, trapping warmth in the forefoot and increasing air flow when pressure is added.
Because of the Thermofoil layer, it is not recommended that you put our 'hot' products in your running shoes. The repetitive movement from running may wear the foil layer prematurely, diminishing its reflective properties.
Outlast® is a temperature regluator. The material balances the temperature of your feet by storing excess heat and releasing it when you need it most.
Outlast is a proprietary fabric that can be incorporated into many different products used in everyday life. Outlast technology continuously interacts with the unique microclimate of the human body to moderate temperature. You can find out more at www.outlast.com.
No, none of the materials used to make our products contain latex.
Clean your REDhot or hotPINK products with a mild soap or detergent using your fingers to rub out dirt. Pat the insoles dry with a clean towel to remove excess moisture. Let them air dry away from a heat source.
Because these products contain Outlast® Adaptive Comfort®, which helps regulate your in-shoe temperature, they shouldn't cause your feet to get sweaty. If your feet do sweat with these insoles, you may need to examine the whole equation of sock, insole and footwear. If you enjoy the support of your REDhot or hotPINK insoles, try changing sock materials. Or you may want to try a different insole, such as the Orange or Berry.
