FEATURED PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY

FOUNDATION
Our XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) foam, FOUNDATION, provides durable biomechanical support. This ultra-light, closed-cell foam resists moisture and helps reduce shock while offering advanced comfort. FOUNDATION’s resilience and strength optimizes the performance of all our Trim-to-Fit Premium Insoles.

Agion®
We treat the top covers of all our Trim-to-Fit Premium Insoles with Agion® antimicrobial technology. Agion’s natural, silver-based antimicrobial is built right into our products to provide long-lasting protection against bacteria. Agion adds continuous cleanliness to our Premium Insoles - creating a clean, comfortable combination.

Encapsulating Stabilizer System [ESS]®
Superfeet Wide Green features a unique stabilizer cap for optimal underfoot support. When integrated with the shape and design of the foam full length, this combination creates a deep heel cup to cradle the heel’s fat pad for improved natural shock absorption. This system provides comfort and necessary stability for different activities, footwear and foot types.

Wide Fit
Wider forefoot and heel cup accommodate the shape and width of size 3E-6E footwear, offering better underfoot coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Wide Green function in the same way as regular Green?
Yes. While designing the Wide Green, we made sure to keep intact all the necessary biomechanical reference points regarding stability, balance and motion relative to the standard Superfeet Green. The supportive heel cup stabilizes the rearfoot, providing natural shock absorption, reducing potential misalignment and overuse injuries, and ensuring product longevity. The pre-shaped foam full length maintains proper alignment of the foot.

The full-length foam is pre-formed and pre-stressed to provide firmness and resistance to excessive pronation, while also providing the internal integrity to prevent undesirable deformation and distortion of the insole itself. Wide Green actually cradles the wide foot and is wider from heel-to-toe than our original Green. In comparison to other over-the-counter insoles that flatten, bend and distort when you wear them, Wide Green will keep the foot functioning in its ideal position for longer periods of time.

How do I know if I should wear Wide Green instead of regular Green?
The width and length of Wide Green's heel and forefoot were designed for a true 'wide foot', one that requires wearing a wide shoe sized 3E to 6E. If you don't wear shoes in these wider size specifications, you probably don't need to wear the Wide Green. You can visit your local Superfeet dealer for a professional shoe and insole fitting and foot measuring if you are unsure: http://www.superfeet.com/find-dealer/
Is the life of the Wide Green product the same as regular Green?
On average, Superfeet insoles last around 12 months or longer depending on the type and size of shoe, the working environment the shoe is worn in, type of activity, body weight, gait and foot type. Depending on these and other possible factors, Wide Green may last the same amount of time as the regular Green, but it widely varies per person. As a general rule, if your insoles are not feeling as good as when they were new, it might be time to consider a new pair. Also, if you are replacing your shoes (for example, if you have been using them in a pair of running shoe), then it is not a bad idea to replace your Superfeet at the same time.
Can Superfeet Insoles be transferred from shoe to shoe?
Yes. Be sure to take the Superfeet Insoles with you when you buy new shoes so you don't buy a shoe that is the wrong size and volume. Remember to remove any factory sock liners, if needed.
Can the Superfeet Insoles be used with heel lifts or full length lifts?
Yes. First make sure there will be enough room in the shoe to accept both the heel lift and the insole. Tape or glue the heel lift to the bottom of the insole.
Do Superfeet Insoles help heel spurs?
Yes, in most, but not all cases. The insoles will help stabilize and reposition the heel bone. At the same time the deep heel cup will hold more of the fat pad under the heel bone for improved cushion and comfort.
Do Superfeet Insoles help Plantar Fasciitis?
Yes, in most, but not all cases. The Superfeet Insoles will help hold the rearfoot close to a neutral position. The neutral position will allow for better bone and muscle alignment. This will help reduce some of the stress on the plantar fascia ligament.
Can I wear the Green insoles in my shoes where the manufacturer's inlay does not come out?
We do not recommend that you place a Superfeet on top of the manufacturer's sock liner (insole). However there are shoes where the factory insole may not be removable. You may place the Superfeet in these shoes as long as it doesn't make the fit of the shoe too tight against your foot. The best Superfeet insole option for shoes without removable insoles is the 3/4 Easy Fit model.
