Shenandoah National Park

The jewel in Virginia's crown, Shenandoah National Park follows the path of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Forest mainly covers the park and includes a section of the famous Appalachian Trail. Take a leisurely hike and see if you can spot some of the famed wildlife, including deer, bears, and many birds.
