We had the honor and privilege again this year of helping run the annual Bellingham Hearts to Soles Event, held Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
One of 25 events like it across the country, this event provides homeless individuals in our community with much-needed foot health care, flu-shots, hygiene kits, socks and new winter boots to get them through the cold and rainy season.
Working as a team, together we saw 560 people at this year's event (that's up from 403 people the year before).
It's a chaotic day, filled with noise, laughter, positive energy, big emotions and hard work. And it's all so worth it.
We at Superfeet get to be part of something really great every day: working to to create products to help you put your best foot forward.
But this day always feels extra special.
It's a chance to break away from our keyboards and phones, roll up our sleeves and connect one-on-one to help fulfill the basic needs of people in our community who need it most.
