My Garmin watch. I feel lost without it!
Life's an adventure. What's been your greatest adventure so far?
A couple years ago my family and I went back to find our old village in Norway. We hiked a mountain that turned out to be named after our family. The view of the fjords and villiage from the top was amaing!
Tell us one thing on your bucket list?
Finishing an IRONMAN triathlon was #1 on my list.
About Brinn's Adventure
Where did you adventure to in the Superfeet Sprinter Van?
I drove down to Santa Rosa, California to race my first full IRONMAN triathlon. We took the coast the whole way so we could stop and enjoy all the fun things the West Coast has to offer.
Who did you adventure with?
My mom and I went on a long road trip when I was young, so I decided it would be fun to relive the experience. The amenities in the van were much nicer than the Element we previously traveled in!
How long was your adventure?
1 week - about 2,000 miles of driving and 140.6 miles of racing.
What was the best part of your adventure?
Running through the finish chute at the IRONMAN race has been my dream for years and it lived up to my expectation! It was such an amazing experience to feel all the energy in the last quarter mile and reflect on all the work that went into every step along the way.
Tell us something else fun/exhilarating/different/thrilling about your adventure:
On the way home, we stopped and played golf at Brandon Dunes right on the cliffs above the ocean. The views were breathaking and we were lucky enough to get some rare sunshine making it even more spectacular.
