Superfeet Volunteers 1,000+ Hours in 2019

Every year, Superfeet employee-owners collectively volunteer more than 1,000 hours in the community.

2019 was no different.

It's important work. For us, it's just as important as making insoles. Giving back to the community is part of our business model, and it's been that way since our founding 40+ years ago.

Here's a look back at just a few of the places you may have seen Superfeet employee-owners rolling up their sleeves this past year.

In January, Superfeet employee-owners helped set-up for the annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County Youth of the Year event.

In March, a crew of Superfeet volunteers braved cold conditions to plant 3,575 native wetland plants at Whatcom Land Trust's Harrison property.

Later in March and again in April, two more groups of Superfeet employee-owners spent time prepping the Ferndale Food Bank Garden for the growing season.

In April, we stuffed hundreds of cups with drink tickets to support the Max Higbee Center's annual April Brews Day fundraising event.

In June, a crew of Superfeet employee-owners helped set up for Rebound Families' annual Ray of Hope Summer Camp (and another group helped with tear-down and clean-up after camp was done).

Also in June, this hard-working crew helped out with trail maintenance at Galbraith Mountain.

In August, a small group of Superfeet employee-owners traveled to do service work in the remote hills of Guatemala, in partnership with Medical Teams International.  Superfeet Guatemala MTI 2019

In the fall, we helped with yard work at clean-up at one of Interfaith Coalition's transitional housing properties in Ferndale, Wash.

To finish the year, our team came together in November to support the annual Hearts to Soles event in Bellingham.
