We're celebrating International Women's Day (IWD) all month long by featuring some of the incredible women on the Superfeet ambassador team. This year's IWD focus is #ChooseToChallenge, encouraging people to celebrate women's achievements while raising awareness about gender bias. Tell us your story.
I started figure skating lessons on Saturdays when I was six and I moved to Scotland from pursue my training further by the time I was fourteen. I am now a former British champion and current bronze medalist. I have represented Great Britain at the European Youth Olympics, Junior Worlds, Junior Grande Prix events and the European championships, as well as many other international events. I have been ranked as one of the top five senior ladies since the age of fourteen.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by people who overcome difficult times, my family inspires me too and keeps me smiling through the extremely hard times.
What's your favorite book?
The Harry Potter books!
What's your favorite activity?
When I’m not skating I enjoy going to the gym! I also love going on coffee dates with my friends.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Becoming British champion at the age of 16.
Do you have a Spotify playlist or favorite song you'd like to share?
Dua Lipa in my current favourite.
What is your favorite Superfeet?
I’ve sworn by Superfeet BLUE insoles since I was 10. I suffered cramps in my feet frequently when I was younger and Superfeet insoles were recommended to me. I’ve never looked back and can’t wear my boots without having the insoles.
