Meet Monica Nevi
Stand-Up Comedian | @monicanevi
About Monica:
Monica Nevi is a native of Washington state, having grown up about 20 minutes south of Seattle, in the glory of Renton, Washington. A collegiate basketball player, after injuries ended her career she decided to pursue her strong interest in stand-up comedy. Years later, Monica is an internationally touring standup comedian, performing in festivals, clubs and colleges all over. She created, produced and hosts the documentary series called ‘80 For 80.’ She has been seen on FOX’s Laughs TV Show as well as in sketches on ESPN’s Sports Center. Monica’s debut standup album Mostly Finger Guns was #1 on the comedy charts followed a month later by her #1 comedic guided meditation album Chill. You can also find her weekly podcast “Dumb Pitches” on the Helium Podcast Network. She just recently filmed her first comedy special in Philadelphia, set to be released later in 2022.
What inspires you?
People inspire me. I love comedy for its ability to reach across different types of people and crazy things going on and still bring laughter. In my struggles, laughing has given me some sort of solace when I thought there was none. I am inspired knowing it’s possible for me to provide that for someone else.
What is your proudest accomplisment?
I am proud of all the things I have created on my own but most proud of finding more balance when people in my industry say it’s too difficult or impossible. I am so proud everyday that I can travel, perform, create shows and albums and podcasts, all while having home and a beautiful family. Taking my career and my life in my own hands and making it what I want is by far my proudest accomplishment. I love my job and am head over heels for my family and I know I can do both.
How do Superfeet insoles support your everyday life?
As a former athlete, the wear and tear I have done to my body is very confusing for those who were not life-long athletes. Although I’m in my early 30s there are precautions and considerations I need to make that others my age may not. I am currently on tour with the Harlem Globetrotters as their first woman DJ. It has been amazing to open the door for more women to come after me.
What inspires you?
My family and my vision.
What is your proudest accomplisment?
Overcoming depression. Loving and understanding myself led me back to myself and my power. This has allowed me to live 100% in my truth and attract things truly meant for me.

Meet Shannon Mahre
Coach, Athlete, Photographer, Writer, Mom | @shannonmahre
Tell us more about you:
I am a 4-season coach + sponsored athlete (ski, mountain bike, SUP & trail running) through my company, Girls with Grit, as well as a professional adventure photographer + writer through my other company, Mahre Media. I also have a Girls with Grit clothing line and put on fitness-based fundraising events in my town. But my greatest joy and largest focus is being the best mom that I can be two my boys (1 and 5), who are my constant companions.
What inspires you?
Women overcoming their fears & following their dreams.
What is your proudest accomplisment?
Being a mother and business owner. It's hard work, but work every moment -- the good ones and the bad!

I’m a professional soccer team player, originally from Ghana, West Africa. I grew up playing soccer and has been a huge part of my family. Have always love to help give back to community and also be a role model for young kids.
What inspires you?
My family and the love of the game.
What is your proudest accomplisment?
Been able to represent my country in the world and also becoming a professional soccer player.
How do Superfeet insoles support your everyday life?
As an athlete, healthy is a huge part of our game so taking care of myself is something that I take serious. I had been having feet problems for a while and was looking to get something to reduce pain and also help me do my job well. Lucky for me, I found Superfeet at the right time and it has been an incredible change in my life.
