Reviews

Revitalized my Hunting

"I put these in my hunting boots that are still in great shape but the insole was worn out. These completely revitalized the feel of my boots. I am confident these boots will last 2-3 more seasons and these insoles will let me do that. I have been elk, deer, and bear hunting already in them and love these insoles. I have recommended them to everyone with feet issues and will be purchasing more as i need them! Great value at a great price!"

Fixed my toe blisters

"I was getting blisters on my second toe when hiking/surveying for work and multiple colleagues recommend these. I wear Lowas, which make great boots but notoriously poor insoles, and they immediately helped. Definitely recommend if you need arch support and your foot flexes or extends when you step. They do fill out the boot more than stock insoles, so if the fit is already tight then maybe go for something with a slimmer profile."

— Kyle G. (5/5)

My Feet feel great

"The hike support insole is fantastic, my feet knees and back have thanked me since I started wearing these. I have put about 300 miles on them and they are still going strong. The only downside is that your foot sits up a little higher in the shoe. So low top shoes might feel a little tippy or unstable at first."

— Bryan D. (5/5)

Hike insoles.

"These insoles are a bit thick for the boots I put them in. So at first they weren’t super comfortable. Once I got past the “break in” of them they have been great. They compressed a bit and aren’t as thick now making them a better fit in my boots. My feet don’t get exhausted when hiking now either."

— Liam W. (4/5)

Ruck ready comfort

"I ruck weekly. I’m also stationed in southeast USA where the heat and humidity tear your feet up if you have poor equipment. After my first ruck back in this region I quickly realized it was time to invest in my feet. Which led me to Superfeet hike support. I took them on a short 3mi/35lb ruck march right out the box and they have been phenomenal ever since. They fit my boots perfectly with no trimming required."

— James P. (5/5)

First time buying insoles

"Never used aftermarket insoles before and I can honestly say I’ve been missing out. These insoles have added so much support and allowed me to hike further and longer without fatigue. Will be buying insoles for my everyday shoes moving forward!"

— Charles C. (5/5)

Added a little volume

"I bought these to add a little volume to a mountain boot. I have low-volume feet and was experiencing a little heel lift on steep inclines. These did a nice job of helping to fill some of the excess volume without adding too much. The cushion felt the same as the stock insoles, which was nice, and the boots were already very supportive so I don't notice much of a difference coming from the insoles. The one downside is that the insole is a little slipperier than the stock insole and occasionally I can feel a little slip of my merino socks against the insole when wearing a heavy pack."

— Oliver P. (5/5)

Love Superfeet

"These inserts held up well over my 3 night stay in Canyonlands. Hoping with a heavy pack I really wanted additional support over the rocky terrain. Glad I got these instead of using the inserts that came with the boots."

— Andrew H. (5/5)

Great support and good cushion,

"Great support and good cushion, especially for more technically driven hiking shoes or boots. Felt great right out of the box."

— Michael K. (5/5)

Supportive and Bring Old Shoes Back to Life

"I was looking for a pair of insoles that allowed me to revive a loved pair of GTX hiking books with a worn out ortholite insole. These were enormously supportive and comfortable, I found my feet could go mile after mile without aching. Low break in period and despite being initially concerned about fit volume, they could be trimmed to fit perfectly in my boot. Would easily recommend there."

Q&A

I bought the trailblazer for hiking. The right one is comfortable with no issues. The left one fits in my shoe with no problem however it makes a popping sound that can also be felt. This occurs every fourth step or so and it’s uncomfortable as well. I have reinserted the insole several times but it does not help. Do you have any ideas?: Hi Nikki, I am sorry to hear your insoles are making a popping noise. I know how embarrassing it can be to walk around with noisy insoles as that has happened to me before, too! The good news is, usually a simple trim can fix it. I understand that sometimes it seems like the insole is a perfect fit in the shoe and doesn't need trimming, but it is important to note that the insole needs to move independently inside the footwear, so it shouldn't be too tight against the inside of the shoe. If they are too long and there is bunching, it could cause a squeak/popping noise. Even just a little hairline trim can help! There should be a small gap of 1 to 2 mm between the Superfeet insole and the end of the footwear. Here is a link to our trimming guide, with a helpful video too: https://www.superfeet.com/en-us/instructions If the sound persists after trimming, you can also try adding some baby powder underneath the insole, or, as strange as it sounds, you can even place a dryer sheet under the Superfeet insole. If this does not work, there is the possibility of a manufacturing defect, which can happen occasionally. In that case, please reach out directly at the link below: https://www.superfeet.com/en-us/contact-us
Which insole would be best for ski boots?: Hi Mark, If your ski boots are roomy, I recommend GREEN. GREEN is a heavy-duty insole that offers legendary support and shock-absorption. It features a high-density foam layer that supports and cushions the foot and a deep heel cup sculpted for comfort and pain relief. This insole has a max thickness and high arch profile, so it will fit best in roomy footwear or shoes with removable insoles. If your ski boots are tighter-fitting, I recommend BLACK. BLACK provides a low profile shape but has the added benefit of taking up less space in your shoes. The heel cup and high-density foam layer work together to absorb impact, support, and cushion the foot. This is our most flexible, low-volume insole that we carry and could pair nicely in your shoes if they are tight-fitting or do not have removable insoles.
I have the copper in my rubber boots, but am looking to see if there is a better option in my new salomon hiking shoes. I am looking at the trailblazer comfort, blue, or orange, but am unsure which will be best. I am outside most days and on uneven terrain and want to get the best insole for my needs: Hi Brian, I recommend trying TRAILBLAZER, which allows your feet to settle into the insole to prevent blisters and hotspots while navigating uneven terrain. https://www.superfeet.com/en-us/trailblazer-comfort If you feel comfortable doing so, you could try going to a store that carries our product to test out a demo or two to see what insole feels the best for you and your footwear. The store locator tool is a great resource to see what’s close to you by typing in your zip code. https://www.superfeet.com/en-us/store-locator/
Can these be used in water shoes? If not what Superfeet insole can be used in water shoes?: Hi Bob, I know how important it is to have proper support under your feet, so that your feet feel good! I know how much better I feel when I have proper support in each of my shoes, including the water shoes (like Keen) that I wear to the river. It is fine to fully submerge Superfeet in water, just so long as they properly fit in your shoes according to fit and trim guidelines. To limit premature wear, make sure that after each use you remove the Superfeet from the shoe, rinse the insole free of any debris, and allow the insoles to fully air dry outside of the shoes until their next wear.
How does this insole differ in construction and material from the Run Comfort? It appears to be identical, but with a different branding for application of use?: Hi Greg, The main difference between the two is that TRAILBLAZER features a dual comfort foam that allows your feet to settle into the insole to prevent shifting, hotspots, and blisters. RUN Comfort features a rebounding style of foam that is bouncier and better tuned for running.
