Tell us your story.
I've been running since I was around 7 in local races in Shropshire. I've gone on to run for England five times - first when I was 14 and last at age 31, over cross-country, road and mountain. Covid took another vest from me unfortunately.
In 2019 I was top British finisher in Berlin Marathon in a PB of 2 hours 41 minutes, which put me onto the all-time rankings. During marathon training I can be running over 100 miles a week. My husband also runs and has a marathon PB of 2 hours 26 minutes.
We have a sausage dog called Frank who isn't great over the longer distances!
What inspires you?
Bettering myself, running faster and getting to represent my country. And, knowing how it feels when everything comes together after a lot of hard work.
What's your favorite book?
Harry Potter - any of the books but the first was the best.
What's your favorite activity?
Making pizza on a Friday night.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Finishing first British runner at Berlin Marathon or representing England. I also went to Iten in Kenya for a month in 2019 (including Christmas and New Year) which was a great experience and makes you realise the simplicity of running and life.
