Reviews

i’m actually reviewing an alternative

"i’m actually reviewing an alternative insole sent to me free of charge because the Casual Pain Relief model was too thick for my shoe. Came down with plantar fasciitis and this model was recommended. Finding it too thick for my shoe I called to return it for a new model. To my surprise, was told to donate it instead and was sent a new insole designed for a more athletic shoe. That model proved to fit perfectly and has greatly reduced my foot pain. Great experience."

I ordered these to have

"I ordered these to have as a backup to my custom made orthotics. When I took my custom made orthotics in for repairs, I was told it would take a week. Then due to my work schedule I couldn't pick them up right away, so I ended up using the Superfeet orthotics for about 2-3 weeks. They worked out for me pretty good. I didn't feel too much discomfort. I got the orthotics to reduce pain, and they fit into my Propet One brand shoes well and feel comfortable enough. They're slimmer than my custom made orthotics and are trimable lengthwise, so I could probably get by using them in a dressier shoe for special occasions. Delivery was as promised and I was able to keep track of when they would arrive as well."

Great Insoles

"These insole's are great! Overall comfort is very good. I work on my feet all day. I've been having heel pain for a couple of years now. Pain went away the first day I wore these. I couldn't believe it would work so fast. I still experience discomfort when I wear shoes without these insoles so it's no coincidence, the insoles are making the difference. They are thick so if your shoes already fit tight then these probably won't work. However if your shoes fit loosely these insoles will snug them up. For me my boots were a bit loose, the insoles made them a perfect fit, if not a little tight. I highly recommend."

This insole is described as

"This insole is described as beneficial for plantar fasciitis. In my view, they are not suited for that purpose. They are too rigid and hard in the heel where plantar fasciitis pain occurs. My PT agrees. They may be fine for other conditions, but do not purchase these if you are hoping for heel pain mitigation."

John S. (2/5)

Same difficulty with these as

"Same difficulty with these as the orange pain relief insoles. They pitch the arch too far back, hitting under my heel rather than under the arch. I needed to trim quite a bit off the toe to seat the arch in a more natural place."

Wendy N. (2/5)

Meh

"The right foot is great. Left foot still in a lot of pain. Back to square one but $60 poorer Why? Why did you do this to me superfeet? The price we pay for these does not justify the performance."

Adam B. (3/5)

Awesome product, troublesome to put in

"It was a little hard to get into place in the shoe but works great and I can feel the difference immediately."

Ashwin R. (5/5)

They hurt my feet. I

"They hurt my feet. I am disappointed for the price."

Kat L. (2/5)

Using them for 2 weeks

"Using them for 2 weeks 40hrs a week on concrete floor so far they have helped so much. This is coming from someone with plantar fasciitis."

Rolando O. (5/5)

"Very comfortable! It fits well inside a size 8 pair of joggers."

Q&A

I have bunions. Which works best for me. I’m also flat footed however been wearing inserts. It’s my bunions that hurt. Help

Age 56, female. Wore hard custom orthotics for years which helped my right foot due to pronation developed during pregnancy. However, have now developed heel pain on left; possibly a spur. Dr. Scholl's helps some but not enough. I hike, 3-6 miles flat and hills. Backpack up to 4 miles with 35-40#. Still need some arch support but not hard like before. Have wide feet (left a little less wide than right due: have bunions that don't hurt if I wear wide enough shoes). Width across metatarsal heads on L = 4.25" and length 9.5" in weight bearing; width on R = 4.5" and length 9.75" in weight bearing. I weigh about 155#. Based on these indicators, can you recommend an orthotic? Thank you
Hi Sheryl, ADAPT Hike Max is a lightly-structured insole that flexes and adapts to your foot's natural motion and works great for hiking. https://www.superfeet.com/en-us/adapt-hike-max If you decide to try these and they don’t end up working out, we are happy to help with a free return or exchange within 60 days. This includes insole that have been trimmed and worn!
Age 61,female, hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome with hypermobile feet, bilateral plantar fasciitis x8 years, bilateral heel spurs, old surgical stabilization both ankles. About 35 lbs overweight. Arch appears normal/high but collapses to completely pancake flat on weight bearing. No running etc I just want to walk without excruciating pain. Wear New Balance shoes work sedentary at desk but walk a lot on weekends working outside. One foot 10.5 other 10.2 US women's size. Width normal to slightly narrow. Please recommend an insole. Thanks.
I know how important it is to find a good solution to keep your feet happy. Since I’m not a medical doctor, I can’t say for certain which insoles (if any) will help to rid of that pain. Your best point of contact for specific pain management questions would be your physician or podiatrist. What we at Superfeet can do is recommend insole options for you that are based on your foot shape, footwear, and daily activities. I’d be happy to talk through different options with you, but I’ll need to know a little bit more about you. Please reach back out using the contact form below and let us know a little more about the shoes you plan on using, how those shoes fit, and the activities you most often perform. superfeet.com/en-us/contact-us
I have wide feet. I don't see widths offered. Is this a concern?
Hi Karen, If you are a EE width or narrower, the standard unisex insoles should fit fine. If your foot is 3E up to 6E in width, wideGREEN will be the only insole we have that will accommodate 3E-6E in width.
What insole is best for someone that may suffer from plantar fasciitis flareups who works in a fast-paced hospital setting, and prefers to vary from casual shoes to sneakers? Pain seems to radiate up to knees and lower back at times. Thank you, Lisa
I'm sorry to hear about that plantar fasciitis you're dealing with. The good news is, all of our insoles feature the Superfeet shape, which is designed to help with alignment and weight distribution and can reduce stress on the plantar fascia to help alleviate some of the pain associated with plantar fasciitis. That being said, the best insole for you will depend on your footwear, how that footwear fits, and the activities you'll be doing with the insoles in your shoes. I’d be happy to talk through different options with you, but I’ll need to know a little bit more about you. Please reach back out using the contact form below and let us know a little more about the shoes you plan on using, how those shoes fit, and the activities you most often perform. superfeet.com/en-us/contact-us
