"I run 4-5 miles around a local golf course 3-4 times week and had to replace the old brand of low-arch orthotics that I had used for about 15 years because the supplier no longer sells them. When I carried out the Superfeet test to establish the arch type I needed I found that for all those years I should have used orthotics with a high arch! - What is the weight of each Adapt Run Max?
- Hi Cody, ADAPT Run Max weighs approximately 40 grams for size C, 45 grams for size D, 50 grams for size E, and 56 grams for size F. This is the measurement for each insole +/- 2 grams.
- The Run Max and Hike Max appear to offer the exact same features. Can you explain how the two differ?
- ADAPT Hike Max and ADAPT Run Max are very similar. The main difference between the two is in the energizing heel cushion and a responsive forefoot zone. ADAPT Hike Max has a heel cushion and forefoot zone that is grippier and more cushioned than our ADAPT Run insoles, so they do a better job at keeping your feet locked in during steep ascents. ADAPT Run Max has a heel cushion and forefoot zone that is rebounding, so it will been bouncier, and is better tuned for running.
- I have high arches but I have been running in the regular adapt run. I am interested in the adapt run max to better fit my arches, but I am wondering how much thicker the max is and if it will take up too much room, height wise, in my shoe?
- Hi Jordan, ADAPT Run and ADAPT Run Max are very similar in terms of volume (how much room they take up within your shoes). ADAPT Run Max is slightly thicker in the forefoot by about 0.2 mm, and they are actually thinner in the heel by about 0.5 mm. - I have planatar fasciittis and high arches. I have been using the FLEX (orange and blue) model for three years. I now have pain again after three years. My doctor wants me to use a heat molded insert which I do not like. I was wondering which superfeet model works best with what i need with high arches.
